About Black Ridge Construction

Black Ridge Construction was formed in 2023 after founders Andrew Blackwell and Jennifer Perkins noticed an opportunity to provide better customer service in the construction community. Over the past 6 years we have opened 7 various franchise locations and have been extremely involved in the build out process. During this time, we noticed several gaps in transparency and communication that would drastically improve the customer experience.

As for personal experience, Andrew began working in the electric field at the age of 16. After college he began working at Fastenal until becoming an entrepreneur with his sister, Jennifer. In this role Andrew oversaw the build out of 3 Anytime Fitness and 4 Main Squeeze Juice Co franchises. In residential, Andrew has always had an interest in real estate and property rehab. His first house was a total gut and started his hands on experience with construction. Years later he contracted the construction of his current home. Through these experiences he discovered his passion for construction. Jennifer has 15 years of entrepreneurship and has won several awards including Anytime Fitness’s Franchisee of the Year award in 2014 (the same year Anytime was named the number one franchise by Forbes Magazine).
